The clear, anti-reflective coated ABS lens magnifies the 5-watt, 850nm, 3-chip LED assembly, providing an IR light range of up to 50 meters. The runtime of this device varies between 1.5 and 5.5 hours, depending on the battery capacity, and the average LED lifespan is 10,000 hours.
The flashlight operates on a simple on-off switch located on the end cap, and it can be powered by a single AA battery (not included). Measuring 92 x 26 mm (L x D) and weighing 68 grams, the shock-resistant and slip-resistant body design is standard waterproof, with an O-ring seal that allows the use of the flashlight in rainy conditions.
Rotating the flashlight head allows for zooming in and out, providing a versatile beam that can illuminate areas from 100-150 yards in spot mode or 50-100 yards in flood mode. This makes the flashlight suitable for a variety of night hunting applications, such as coyotes, foxes, hogs, wild pigs, varmints, and predators, including deer.
Please note that this is not a regular white light flashlight for general lighting purposes. The LED chip in this flashlight appears red to the naked eye when turned on, as it is designed specifically for use with night vision devices and non-IR filter cameras. If you are looking for a standard white light flashlight, this product is not suitable.
